The Nissan Cefiro is a premium personal saloon produced from 1988 to 2003. Early followers of the Nissan Cefiro will know that it began as a premium sports sedan. It has since undergone a makeover, becoming a large executive car that incorporates the universal design principle of offering ease of operation to all types of drivers.
The A32, which debuted in 1994, marks this shift. It comes with a selection of three V6 six-cylinder DOHC engines: 3.0L 217 hp, 2.5L 187 hp, and 2.0L 153 hp. All engines are mated to a 4AT, while only the 2.0L is offered the option of a 5MT.
Following this second-generation A32 is the A33, which was released in December 1998. In the engine lineup of the A33 are two VQ V6 six-cylinder DOHC units - either a 2.5L capable of 207 hp, or a 2.0L lean burn with an output of 158 hp. This model year utilizes a strut at the front and Nissan's multi-ring beam at the rear as part of its suspension system. For safety, dual airbags, seatbelts with load limiter and pretensioner, active belt rest, EBD, brake assist, and ABS come as standard.
