Falling in line with Prosche’s 911 and Boxter models is the maker’s third model range, the 4WD Cayenne SUV. It combines the high-level sports performance inherited from its predecessors with ultimate off-road drivability. The Cayenne SUV’s first-generation lineup includes the base model with a 3.2L V6 six-cylinder 24-valve engine for 247 hp, the Cayenne S with a 4.5L V8 eight-cylinder 32-valve engine that makes 335 hp, and the Cayenne Turbo with a turbo version of the 4.5L V8 engine for 444 hp. In recent years, Porsche has expanded its Cayenne SUV lineup - the 2016 range comprises the base Cayenne with a 3.6L V6 six-cylinder engine for 296 hp, the 3.6L V6 six-cylinder Cayenne S capable of 414 hp, the plug-in hybrid Cayenne S E Hybrid, the 434 hp Cayenne GTS with 3.6L V6 six-cylinder engine, the Cayenne Turbo with a 4.8L V8 eight-cylinder engine that churns out 513 hp, and the 562 hp 4.8L V8 eight-cylinder twin-turbo Cayenne Turbo S.
