First released in Japan in late 1997 as the Toyota Harrier before being exported abroad under its current title, the Lexus RX is a sophisticated crossover luxury SUV. Spanning four generations to date across compact and mid-size models, this 5-door SUV is defined by its balance of good value, daring design, and roomy yet luxurious interior. Additionally, the Lexus RX is now available in a hybrid model that utilizes a 3.5L 246 hp V6 six-cylinder engine with electric motor. For this model year, the regular gasoline models are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, while the hybrid models are mated to a CVT. Fuel efficiency starts from 8.9 km/l for the regular gasoline RXs, with those of the hybrids reaching up to 17.4 km/l.
