The 1.3L inline engine comes in the basic 13C, fuel-efficient 13C-V, and sporty 13S models, while the 1.5L comes in 15C and SPORT. The 13C and 13S can also be equipped with an e-4WD (electric four-wheel drive) system. This year also sees a special 13C-V HID EDITION, with improved headlamp and fog lights to improve safety during nighttime driving. This model improves slightly on the Demio's already legendary fuel-efficiency, reaching up to 54 mpg highway. All have an electronically controlled 4-speed AT as standard, while the 13C-V and all 1.5L come with an automatic continuous variable transmission (CVT) and 5-speed-manual.
