The Isuzu Juston, also known as the Forward Juston or the NQR/NRR overseas, isn't your typical four-ton truck. Weight reduction on its front axle allows for greater carrying capacity thanks to its small and lightweight cab imported from Isuzu's Elf, making the Juston the ideal truck for customization into a crane, dump truck, or cement mixer. Upon its release in 1986, the Isuzu Juston came with the 4th generation Elf's cab, and with two 6.5L inline six-cylinder diesel engines that create outputs of 173 hp and 153 hp. In the Juston's final generation before its discontinuation in 2004 is a 7.2L 203 hp inline six-cylinder diesel engine.
The Juston comes with wheelbases ranging from 109 to 212 inches to accommodate the longest of loads. On the forefront of technological innovations for trucks, it also is one of the first few trucks to feature selective catalytic reduction and diesel exhaust fluid. It also features vacuum hydraulic boosted brakes with four-channel ABS to ensure responsive braking.
