The Silvia is considered Nissan’s compact specialty coupe. Though initially an exclusive hand-built car launched in 1964, it was only in 1975 that the Silvia saw mass production.
In 1988, Nissan launched the S13 Silvia to great reception in the Japanese market, winning the Car of the Year Japan award that year. The HICAS II, and later, Super HICAS four-wheel steering systems were also available as options. This generation gets a 1.8L inline four-cylinder DOHC engine for 133 hp as well as its turbocharged version for 173 hp. These are mated to either a 4AT or 5MT and come in an FR layout.
Beginning with the 1991 release, the engines are upgraded to a 2.0L 138 hp inline four-cylinder DOHC and its 202 hp turbo variant. For its final generation, which lasted from 1999 to 2002, the Silvia changes from the S13 to the S15 and receives either a 2.0L DOHC turbo engine mated to a 6MT (247 hp) or 4AT (222), or a naturally aspirated engine mated to a 5MT (163 hp) or 4AT (158 hp).

RoRo RoRo vessels are designed for "Roll on Roll off" transportation of vehicles. Compared to containers, RoRo tends to have relatively lower local fees at the destination port, making it the simplest and quickest method for receiving vehicles. For those not needing to purchase multiple cars, it becomes the most effective transportation option.
Container When purchasing multiple cars, it can be cost-effective to transport them in containers. Depending on the vehicle size, a 20ft container can accommodate 1-2 cars, while a 40ft container can fit 4-6 cars. Unlike RoRo, container shipping may incur additional costs at the destination port, such as devanning, DTHC, and port charges. It is advisable to consult with a customs broker for clarification.
