The suspension is a 4-wheel double wishbone, with a 6-speed sports type MT. Torsen LSD is standard on the 6-speed MT model, and it can be mounted as option on the RS 200. Other editions or grades of the Altezza include the "Z Edition" which boasts a sporty interior and exterior for each grade. Another option is the "L Edition" which has excellent genuine leather seats and steering wheel as its standard design. In addition, "AS 200 iEDITION (Edition)" is a special specification car based on the AS 200. This edition of the Altezza includes a front grill and emblem, projector fog lamps, and special aluminium wheels. Genuine leather wrapped steering wheels and parking brake levers as well as chrome plating for the inside door handles are included in the iEdition.
Additionally, dual airbags, ABS, pretensioner and seat belt with prestresser and force limiter are standard equipment in all cars.
