The Toyota Corolla was introduced in 1966 and became the best-selling car worldwide by 1974. It is well known for its easy maintenance, compact size, and its availability of parts worldwide. It runs on a small but efficient engine and is reliable and comfortable to drive. That is why the “Corolla” is the best-selling nameplate in the world.
Arguably Toyota's most well-known and longest-running basic sedan model, the Toyota Corolla Sedan has the advantage of a long history of tweaks and refinements behind it that have helped it become the staple vehicle it is today.
Depending on the model year and grade opted for, the Corolla Sedan offers a variety of features and conveniences for its driver and passengers. These features include different package varieties of the many grades which have been sold over the years such as standard features like dual airbags, independent 4-wheel strut suspension system, and ABS. In the premium grades of the Corolla sedan (especially prominent in the models from the mid-2000s) features were upgraded to include things such as a discharge headlamp, an automatic air conditioner, and push type digital heater control panel. Interiors also improved with options like the updated suede seat and door trim and wood grain paneling.
