About TOYOTA Soarer

Since its release in 1981, the super grand tourer Soarer has been paving the way for all cars in Toyota's lineup. The Soarer was developed under the theme of "concentrating the world's latest technologies," and so, was often the first Toyota car that incorporated new technologies.

The maiden 1981 version of the Soarer, which won the Car of the Year Japan award, comes with 2.0L, 2.8L, and 3.0L inline six-cylinder engine options, and features such technologies as digital speed and tachometer display with LED, as well as touchscreen climate control. The 1991 Soarer receives an overhaul from its predecessors with a new design thanks to Toyota's California design studio, and features a GPS automotive navigation system via CD-ROM, being one of the first cars in the world to do so. For its 2001 release, the Soarer gets a retractable hardtop and a powerful 4.3L V8 VVTi engine capable of 280 hp. This allows the Soarer to accelerate to 100km/h in just six seconds from a stand still.

Though discontinued in 2005, the Toyota Soarer in all its versions is always a stylish option. Find yours at a great price with us here at BE FORWARD!
