About 2016 DAIHATSU Hijet Van

The Daihatsu Hijet Van has the longest history in the mini van (truck) category in Japan. It dates back to 1960 when the 1st generation was born. The current 9th generation has enormous varieties from truck, van and cargo. In the used market 8th generation is more popular (sold between 1993 and 1997).(please see model V-S110V) The engine is basically 660cc with three varieties; EF-CS three-in-line SOHC (Single Overhead Cam), EF-ES (Electronic Injection type of EF-CS) and EF-GS three-in-line DOHC (Double Overhead Cam). The transmissions are 3-speed AT or 5-speed manual with drive trains FR (Front Engine Rear Drive) or 4WD (Four Wheel Drive).
