About 2011 MERCEDES-BENZ E-Class

Boasting one of the most luxurious interiors in the industry, Mercedes-Benz's E-Class Sedans and Coupes are the benchmark for the premium car category. In the 2011 lineup is a wide range of engine options such as a 1.8L 201 hp inline four-cylinder direct injection turbo unit, a 3L 208 hp V6 six-cylinder, a 3.5L 268 hp V6 six-cylinder, a 5.5L 387 hp V8 eight-cylinder, and an AMG 6.3L 525 hp V8 (E63 AMG). All engines are mated to a 7G-TRONIC seven speed automatic transmission and utilize a FR layout, except for the E300 4Matic that comes with full time 4 wheel drive. Fuel efficiency is estimated at 12.8 km/l, 13.0 km/l, 12.6 km/l, 10.0 km/l, and 8.4 km/l, respectively.

Standard features across all E-Class cars include cruise control, dual-zone climate control, interior ambient lighting, a multi-function instrument panel display, rain-sensing wipers, and others, with the upper trims coming with 17-inch wheels, COMAND infotainment system, sunroof, power doors, locks, and mirrors, and vinyl seats. The E-Class range also comes equipped a suite of 11 airbags that include a driver knee airbag. Driver drowsiness detection, blind spot monitor, automatic high-beam headlight control, adaptive cruise control, and a lane-departure warning system are also available as options.
