The 2013 MERCEDES-BENZ E-Class is a member of the model's fourth generation, with an average fuel economy of 6.8 - 13.6 km/l. The E-Class sets the bar high for premium-class vehicles all over the world. The 2013 range of the E-Class features variations like a 4-door sedan, 2-door coupe and station wagon for a total of three body types. Five engines are available in this model year - a 1.8L 201 hp inline four-cylinder turbo, a 3.0L 208 hp V6 six-cylinder diesel turbo, a 3.5L 249 hp V6 six-cylinder, a 4.7L 402 hp V8 eight-cylinder turbo, and a 5.5L 517 hp V8 eight-cylinder twin turbo (AMG model). All engine variations come mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission and utilize a FR layout except for the 3.5L in the E300 4matic that uses a full-time 4WD.

Luxurious features come as standard with the 2013 E-Class such as 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, a multi-function steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, leatherette upholstery, and more. In its lineup of sophisticated safety features are a driver drowsiness monitoring system, parking sensors, blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, a night-vision camera and pedestrian detection.
