The Mercedes Benz S-Class is described as a spacious and classic luxury passenger sedan as well as Mercedes-Benz's traditional flagship model. With a long wheelbase, the interior is spacious and high in quality. The various grades include the S350 which is equipped with a 3.5 LV 6-cylinder DOHC (272 HP) engine and the S550, S550 Long, S550 4 Matic Long which have a 5.5 L V8 DOHC (387 HP) engine. There is also a top model version, the S600 Long which comes with a 5.5L V12 SOHC Twin Turbo (517 HP) engine.
The S-Class also offers the high-performance series AMG model, the S63 AMG Long, equipped with a power unit 5.5 L V8 DOHC (544 HP) engine, while a 6 L V12 SOHC Twin Turbo (612 HP) engine is offered with the S65 AMG Long model. The S63 AMG Long has a spray-guided gasoline direct injection fuel system that uses a piezo injector which performs thorough fuel injection while downsizing the engine, and a multi-spark ignition that generates ignition sparks up to four times within one millisecond. Compared with conventional models, such as twin turbochargers, it has achieved both significant performance improvement and fuel efficiency improvement.
In addition, a standard wheelbase model has been added to the first hybrid model “HYBRID (Hybrid) Long” imported cars. The 3.5-liter V-type 6-cylinder engine (279 hp) is combined with a hybrid module. A thin electric motor and a lithium-ion battery are installed, and the trunk space has the same capacity as a normal gasoline model. It exhibits 11.2km / L, total system maximum power 299PS in fuel consumption 10.15 mode together. Hybrid 2 model, S550 4 Matic Long, S600 Long, S65 AMG Long have left handle setting, others have selectable left and right handles.
Performance and power are among the highlights of this sedan with an option to choose among the V6, V8, or V12 engine. The standard is automatic transmission (AT) and you can choose between the rear or all-wheel drive system.
