The Honda Crossroad is a mid-sized crossover SUV. The first generation was simply a rebadged version of the Land Rover Discovery, but was only offered with a 3.9L V8 engine and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. For body styles, 2 options were available; 3-door, 5 seats and 5-door, 7 seats (both with 4WD). The 2nd generation Crossroad is a Honda-engineered original compact crossover SUV. It again seats 7 passengers across 3 rows, but now offers a choice of 1.8L (DBA-RT1) and 2L (DBA-RT3) economical V-TEC engines with an easy-to-drive 5-speed automatic gearbox and part-time 4WD.
With a strong design, while also meshing the structure styles of both 3-row minivans and compact vehicles, the Crossroad is as versatile as cars get. The 4WD version of the Crossroad incorporates a start assist function that maintains brake pressure when on a slope so that acceleration is smooth. The fuel economy is quite impressive given its features and power. Expect fuel consumption rates between 12.4km/l and 13.8km/l. Features can include side mirror-integrated signal lights, as well as fog lights.
