The current generation of the Mazda Bongo Van has a redesigned forward chassis for improved collision safety. Sliding doors on one or both sides of the body were offered as options in addition to the standard roof and high roof. Also, the overall body size of the Bongo Van is the largest in model’s history. That, combined with the contrasting smallest turn radius the vehicle has ever had, leads to noticeable and very welcome enhancements in the car’s usability.
Like the Bongo Truck, the Bongo Van employs a steering column shifter to allow for increased leg space, as well as more storage options in the instrument panel and door pockets.
With a 1,789cc petrol engine giving 90 horsepower, or 2,184cc diesel engine offering 79 horsepower, the Bongo Van is a solid option for your next work van.
