MAZDA’s CX-7 is a cross-over SUV; essentially, the CX-7 takes the sporty characteristics of a sports car and combines it with the versatility and carrying capacity of an SUV. The engine is one of the most exciting aspect of the CX-7 which borrows the same turbocharged power plant found in the MAZDASPEED 3 & 6 paired with a 6 speed tip-tronic gearbox. The drivetrain is equally well featured with independent suspension, ventilated disc brakes, stability/traction control as well as anti-lock brakes. Most CX-7s (CBA-ER3P) are available as 4WD although a 2WD (FF) version is available.
The CX-7 boasts a full-featured equipment package that includes black leather, as well as powered front seats with a placement memory function for the driver's side. This crossover SUV comes in both full-time front wheel and four-wheel drive options. The CX-7 also received some physical refinements to increase its aesthetic appeal. This was achieved by changing the rear bumper design, along with the use of metal bordering. As for the interior, the blackout meter received an updated look, and newer versions received a Multi Information Display to help create a more comfortable and convenient driving experience. Fuel efficiency for the CX-7 ranges between 8.9km and 9.3km per liter.
