The Mitsubishi Lancer Cargo is a commercial van made first available by the maker in 2003 as the successor to the Mitsubishi Libero Cargo. Beginning in 2008, Nissan supplied Mitsubishi with OEM AD/AD Experts, which Mitsubishi rebranded into the Lancer Cargo, thus beginning its second generation. However, in April 2019, production for the Lancer Cargo ceased, marking an end to the 16-year history of the trusted driving companion. For its second and final generation, the Lancer Cargo measures 4395 x 1695 x 1500 mm (1545 mm for the 4WD version) and is available in either two or five-seater versions. It comes with essential carry capabilities of 300–450kg and 150–300kg, respectively, with a full passenger load. Though initially released with only a 1.5L engine, four inline four-cylinder engine options have since become available: 1.2L, 1.5L, 1.6L and 1.8L. The transmission either comes as a four-speed AT or CVT with a FF or 4WD drive train. Suspensions are strut in front and torsion beam (for FF) or trailing arm (for 4WD) in the rear.
