Two Pajero grades aimed to be more luxurious produced in this year include the "Super Exceed", "Exceed X" and "Exceed." The grades "ZR - S" and "ZR" were also introduced to allow the driver to adapt to an active lifestyle. Two grades of "VR-II" and "VR-I" were created for the short body version of the Pajero as well as a simple "basic package" for those who do not need their SUV to have all the bells and whistles. The Pajero has seen many changes over the years, including improvements to fuel efficiency and engine performance. It has all made great strides in its feature set.
