The Chevrolet Captiva is the culmination of GM's efforts and expertise in developing a mid-size SUV. It also has gone by the name of the Holden Captiva in Australia and the Daewoo Winstorm in South Korea up until 2011 when "Chevrolet Captiva" was adopted internationally. The 2011 model year is a seven-seater that receives a 2.4L inline four-cylinder DOHC engine with Variable Valve Timing to make 165 hp. This model year comes with a six-speed automatic transmission and in full-time 4WD. Thanks to its eco-mode, the power train of the 2011 Captiva is able to achieve a balance of performance and fuel efficiency. For its 2016 model year, the Captiva receives an update to its fog lamps, under-guard design and its front fascia - now endowed with a dual port grill design, as well as stylish LED positioning for its front headlights.
In the equipment department, the 2016 Captiva comes standard with Chevrolet's MyLink infotainment system compatible with newer media platforms and formats, and Apple CarPlay with Siri voice command for hands-free operation. In addition to the standard electronic stability control, brake assist, anti-rollover protection, hill descent control and the existing rear parking assist in previous model years, the 2016 Captiva includes front parking assist and a rear-view camera. Handsome enough to draw the eyes, rugged enough to take you anywhere - find your Chevrolet Captiva with us at BE FORWARD!
