Very good cosmetic and mechanical condition. No rust, clean inside and out. Comfortable and quiet, quick acceleration, very stable in tight turns. Not quite as agile as the turbocharged V6 version with 18" wheels, it has a slightly higher ground clearance with a barely perceptible roll when turning. The whole car is classy and beautiful inside and out, it hugs you in comfort and offers performance beastly in comparison to other high end sedans. Almost forgot to mention: Tires were in 90% condition. I have three very minor complaints: 1) The car arrived with a dead battery, someone left the interior light on for the ocean transit. Obviously an accident, these things happen. The battery took a slow charge and is now cranking okay, but still showing black and will need to be replaced in a couple of months. No big deal. 2) The audio system is not working. I checked all the fuses, no fault there, the audio is simply dead. Again, considering the price of the car, this does not really qualify for a complaint. 3) BE FORWARD does not answer inquiries sent by email. In conclusion, I love the S-Type, its beauty is eternal, and quality outstanding. I can hardy wait for the next one to be listed. I absolutely hate the X-Type, it's so ugly, and particularly the version with the transverse V-6 front wheel drive. See you in later purchases.
