First released in 2007, the Jaguar XF raised the bar for luxury sporting vehicles. The XF breaks Jaguars' mold of elaborate executive sedans by featuring a streamlined body with smooth curves and sporty sedan proportions. The maiden lineup of XFs featured two engine sizes - a 3.0L 240 hp V6 six-cylinder or a 4.2L 300 hp V8 eight-cylinder premium gasoline engine, both of which arrived mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and utilize a FR layout. For its 2016 model year, the XF receives a 2.0L 237 hp inline four-cylinder or a 3.0L 335 hp V6 six-cylinder premium gasoline engine, or an INGENIUM 2.0L 178 hp inline four-cylinder turbo-diesel unit. All engines for this model year are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and use a FR layout. Fuel efficiency clocks in at 10.6 to 11.4 km/l for the gasoline models, and 16.7 km/l for the diesel models.
Standard features on the 2016 XF include an InControl Touch Pro infotainment system, navigation system, AM/FM radio and leather steering wheel.
