Transmission available for both semi-automatic and manual gearbox. The maximum load for the models shown are 2 TONs.

Starting in 1993, the fifth generation of the Elf truck appeared, and several changes were made over the long years of this generation which made the truck most are familiar with. The 1990s saw many subtle changes over time to the Elf truck, including updates of the bonnet, engine regulations, grille, and airbags. During the 2000s, larger changes were made including the dual mode MT specification and drive-by-wire using an electronically controlled throttle, and cooperation control of the engine, clutch, and transmission when changing gears. In 2005, a hybrid version of the truck was released, which could also continue to function as a diesel engine truck if the hybrid system failed.
