The Biante is Mazda's versatile eight-seater minivan. It was first released in 2008 and aimed at families with children, measuring a spacious 4715 x 1770 x 1835 mm with wide sliding doors on both sides for easy entry and exit for the young ones and all of their necessities. The first rendition of the Biante receives either a 2.0L DISI DOHC or a 2.3L DOHC engine that makes 149 hp and 163 hp, respectively. The 2.0L comes in either full-time 4WD with 4AT or in FF layout with 5AT, while the 2.3L comes in FF layout with 5AT. Later editions like the 2016 Biante are equipped with a highly efficient 2.0L SKYACTIV-G 2.0 engine mated to a SKYACTIV-DRIVE transmission for 149 hp, or a 2.0L DISI engine with a 4AT. Fuel efficiency is rated at 14.8 km/l for the SKYACTIV trims and 9.4 km/l for the DISI engine models.
