Despite first being produced only as recently as 2004, the Kia Morning (or Kia Picanto) 5-door hatchback minicar has already made great strides in design, affordability, comfort, safety and reliability. This versatile minicar has garnered awards from a number of organizations, such as the award for Best Light Car by the German automobile magazine, Autobild - a mark of its achievements and an indication of its stellar performance in different situations. Recent models of the Morning take inspiration from the Kia Leo's front fascia and bear Kia's distinctive 'Tiger Nose' style front grille to give it an impactful presence. While the 2nd generation of the Morning comes with either 5MT, 4AT, or CVT mated to an inline three-cylinder 1.0L or inline four-cylinder 1.25L Hyundai Kappa gasoline engine, the CVT option is absent in the 3rd generation Morning. As safety features, the Morning comes with front and side airbags, seat belts with pretensioner and load limiter and seat belt reminders, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist control and more.
