The Hino Ranger is a medium heavy duty truck produced by Hino Motors, which is a subsidiary of Toyota. The current Ranger lineup is a part of Hino's F-Series which now features several models such as FC, FD, FE, FF, FG, FL, and FM, all with varying loading capacities. The FC is the smallest in the range and is able to hold 4 tons. The engines on offer are just as large ranging from 6010cc (approx.) to 7960cc (approx.) model U-FD3WDAD, KK-FD1JLDA paired with either a 6-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission.
Earlier Ranger models have round headlights, while models created in the second generation after the car's first facelift come with rectangular headlights. The design of the facelift version's cab is much more aerodynamic than the first generation of Ranger trucks.
Currently in its 4th generation, the Hino Ranger is now available in different types of cabin sizes including wide, short, or full cab and with a standard or high roof depending on your needs. The Ranger received a facelift and upgrades as recently as 2017, with a newly designed grille, dashboard, and higher roof to name a few of the changes. 6 or 7-speed transmissions also became available for the Hino Ranger with this upgrade.
