Korean manufacturer KIA has released an array of stringent SUVs, scoring well on global safety standards, and combining tough-looking exteriors with stylish interiors.
The popular KIA Sorento, which debuted in 2002, comes as both a five and seven seater mid-size crossover SUV. The Sorento is well known for excelling in comfort, handling rough roads with ease and keeping quiet inside. The 2016 version of the Sorento comes with one of three engine choices: a 2.4L 185 hp inline four-cylinder, a 2.0L 240 hp turbocharged, or a 3.3L 290 V6 six-cylinder. Fuel efficiency ranges from 8.1 to 10.2 km/l. The KIA Sportage is another selection that's bound to please, and comes available as a 3-door convertible and a 5-door SUV. This mid-size SUV has proven fuel efficiency with the optional four-cylinder, while still maintaining that sporty feel. Engines for the 2012 Sportage include a 181 hp 2.0L inline four-cylinder diesel engine, a 173 hp 2.4L inline four-cylinder unleaded gasoline engine, or a 164 hp 2.0L inline four-cylinder unleaded gasoline engine.
