Hyundai's Grand Starex offers a step up from the typical eight-seater minivan, both in terms of seating capacity and luxury. The 2019 model year of the Grand Starex is available as either an 11 or 12-seater with long sliding seats that are able to be adjusted to make room for more cargo when necessary. This model year is powered by a highly efficient and environmentally friendly 2.5L inline four-cylinder CRDi diesel engine mated to a six-speed manual or five-speed auto transmission. Fuel efficiency is estimated to range from 8.0 to 11.3 km/l (depending on the configuration).

If you’re in need of a bigger solution for a larger number of passengers, look to the Hyundai County - a single-decker minibus released in 1998 and available primarily as either a city or tourist bus. The 2019 County comes in either a standard or long body to seat 14 to 24 and 19 to 29 passengers, respectively. It’s available with several different inline four-cylinder engines (depending on the region) that produce 99 hp to 153 hp. These engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
