The Volkswagen Bora is the successor to the classy Vento, bridging the gap between the Passat and the Golf as a reliable, compact, yet premium 4-door sedan. At first glance, the Bora is both simple yet stylish, designed in European fashion with smooth, flowing lines. Under the hood, the 1700 wide Bora is powered by a 2.8L V6, 2.3L V5, or a 2L inline 4 engine, outputting horsepower of 204hp, 170hp, and 116hp respectively. The 2.8L comes in 6 gear MT with full time 4WD, the 2.3L in Tiptronic 5AT FF, and the base model 2L in 4AT FF. Additionally, the sporty 2.8L version of the Bora befittingly boasts a sports suspension and Recaro electronically controlled leather sports seats.
