With a 4-door sedan body, each generation and model offers a stylish and refined interior and exterior across a variety of layout, engine, and transmission formations. Until 2015, the Lexus IS arrived with either a 2.5L or a 3.5L engine. Since then, it has come with a 3.5L 314 hp V6 six-cylinder engine for its IS350, IS350 Version L and IS350 FSports trims, a 2.5L 176 hp inline four-cylinder with an electric motor for the IS300h, IS300h Version L and IS300h FSports hybrid models, a 2.5L 212 hp V6 six-cylinder, and a 2.0L 242 hp inline four-cylinder IC turbo engine.
Standard equipment for the 2015 model year and onwards include an onboard navigation system, cruise control and leather steering wheel.
